Il Moscato Toscana IGT firmato Elena Casadei è un bianco molto particolare chenfa parte della linea Le Anfore. Le uve fermentano in anfora per 22 giorni dopodiché affinano sempre in anfora per 7 mesi. Il risultato è un vino floreale, fruttato, dominato da note di pesca, albicocca, agrumi, con un leggero tono affumicato.
Questo Vino bianco Toscana IGT fa parte della linea Le Anfore di Elena Casadei dove la terracotta ed i singoli uvaggi sono i protagonisti. Qui è il vitigno è il moscato, proveniente da un piccolo vigneto in zona Suvereto (Li). Dopo la vendemmia rigorosamente manuale, la vinificazione avviene con una fermentazione sulle bucce di 22 giorni in anfora e sempre in anfora un affinamento di 7 mesi.
Alla vista si presenta di colore ambrato e, in alcuni casi, lievemente velato grazie alla proficua macerazione sulle bucce.
Al naso profumi sono generosi ed invitanti: pesca nettarina, gelsomino, pompelmo, rosa canina. Al gusto è piccante e marino.
Al palato la prima sensazione è di dolcezza, subito stemperata dalla nota citrica, da una leggera componente tannica e da un’acidità ben calibrata.
Il Moscato di Elena Casadei accompagna egregiamente piatti vegetariani di sostanza, come un maltagliato con pesto di cavolo nero e nocciole. Guardando il mare attrae l’abbinamento con uno spaghetto alla bottarga, una frittura di paranza o di calamari e gamberi mentre prendendo spunto dalla terra con un coniglio alle olive o con un pollo fritto.
